Chore Engine ("the app") is a private household tool operated by one individual for the use of a single household. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used and stored, and your choices.
When you sign in with Google, the app requests only these permissions:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/tasks) — to create,
read, update, and delete chores in your own Google Tasks lists.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly) —
read-only access to your calendars, used solely to determine whether you
are busy or away on a day a chore is due.
The app does not request access to your Gmail, Contacts, Drive, YouTube, or any other Google data.
Your data is used only to operate the app. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or marketing, and it is not sold or shared with third parties.
Chore history is kept for a rolling 90-day effort ledger. OAuth tokens are kept only while the integration is in use, and are deleted when access is revoked.
The app is a private household tool and is not directed at children under 13.
This policy may be updated from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
